Beebe + Runyan: where history and modern conveniences converge

Located in the scenic Heartland of America Park overlooking the Missouri River, the Beebe + Runyan is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building began life as a warehouse serving river trade and was built in 1913 for the Beebe and Runyan Furniture Company. The eight-story building recently underwent a complete renovation and was converted into luxury loft-style condominiums. The construction project was the first in Nebraska to recycle 100% of the waste produced, giving this luxurious development a truly green start to life. Today, Beebe + Runyan offers a majestic setting for elegant one and two bedroom lofts and luxury penthouse suites close to shopping, entertainment and job opportunities.

Plans to restore and convert the historic Beebe + Runyan building were conceived and designed by architectural firm Leo A. Daly Sr. on behalf of Boca Development Company, which completed primary construction of the project in 2007. Condo units incorporated into the building incorporates reclaimed maple wood for flooring, as well as many of the original beams and bricks from the original building design, preserving the historic look and feel of this classic building. The redesigned space features large exterior windows and a six-story atrium to bring plenty of natural light throughout the building, giving the entire development an open-air look and feel.

However, the beauty of Beebe + Runyan Luxury Lofts goes far beyond simple cosmetic updates. The entire development has been designed to be environmentally friendly with energy efficient heat pumps complemented by electric ovens for the coldest winter nights. Heated windows are standard in all areas of the building and let in light while keeping heat and cold outside. All-natural materials were used to finish the surfaces in all units. Even the disposal chutes are environmentally friendly, with recycling options available alongside standard trash chutes.

Health-conscious residents can take advantage of the gym that included 3,000 square feet and offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment. For entertaining, the Beebe + Runyan also features a 2,000-square-foot community room fully equipped with kitchen facilities and a common 50-inch plasma screen television. Concierge service is always available and the two-story underground parking garage is heated for optimal comfort.

Residents of Beebe + Runyan enjoy close proximity to the many restaurants, galleries and shops available in the historic Old Market shopping district. Additionally, employment opportunities at Creighton University, the Qwest Center, and the new TD Ameritrade Park Omaha Stadium are all within walking or commuting, making the Beebe + Runyan a profitable option for Omaha professionals as well. .
