Closed Room Game Review and Tips

Closed Room is a room escape game, consisting of the usual controls. You touch items around you, pick up some of them and interact with others. The objective of this game is to use your environment and your wits to solve numerous challenging puzzles and finally escape the room.

If you’ve played “Ellie”, you might be expecting some near-impossible puzzles in this game. While there are some tough challenges here, don’t worry. Closed Room is simpler, and the items you find offer helpful hints on its uses. There are plenty of clues to be found here, and this game will last you much longer than you might imagine for such a minimalist room. The controls are also very intuitive and responsive, which is not always the case with free room escape games.

One thing I really appreciated was the little red laser dot that appears whenever you tap somewhere and there’s nothing major. Lets you know that your faucet is registered. With so many other escape room games, it’s unclear whether or not your tap registered, which can lead to a lot of frustrated hyper-tapping.

There were a couple of things that bothered me in the game. A core puzzle has multiple parts, all of which must be completed in one go, as the game will not save your progress. This can be very frustrating as you can’t take a break and come back later. So make sure you start it when you have plenty of time to spend. Also, the “Start” and “Continue” buttons are on top of each other, and I accidentally restarted my game. I was never prompted to ask if I want to reboot; he just did it anyway. So be very careful when you return to the game so you don’t make the same mistake I did. But if you get over these small issues, the game offers good quality room escape fun for free!

If you are looking for a challenging room escape game to waste your time with, look no further! This app even comes with Closed Room 1 and 2!

If you have any problems with it, here are some tips:

1. If you are having trouble with the last part of the “tap to complete” puzzle, try starting from both ends and meeting in the middle. You want the top three pieces to be changed last.

2. Once you escape from room 1, don’t delete the app! Go back to the main menu and you will see a new option to select, Room 2.

3. In Room 2, think about the time when you are trying to solve the code on the computer screen.

I hope that helps. Have fun escaping!
