Here is a classic fruit salad recipe that many people love. It features pineapple, oranges, cherries, marshmallows and coconut.
2 cans pineapple chunks, drained
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 jars maraschino cherries, drained
1 can of coconut flakes
1/2 bag mini marshmallows
4 oz. sour cream
16 oz. Cool Whip Container

1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/3 cup powdered sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer. Add the powdered sugar and mix until well blended. Add the vanilla and mix with the mayonnaise. Stir in fruit and marshmallows. Add whipped cream to mixture.
Add food coloring to the mix. The salad should now be a pale pink color. Pour mixture into 5-ounce serving or soufflé glasses. Place in the freezer and freeze overnight.
Thaw at least 15 minutes before serving. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and cherries.

1/2 watermelon
melon balls
seedless grapes
peach slices
pear slices
strawberries, sliced
Red and black raspberries

1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, do not drain
2 firm bananas, sliced 1-inch thick (optional)*
1 box vanilla instant pudding
