How to play house

Playing house is fun to do with your children. Usually kids in elementary school and 6th grade will enjoy the game. Play house is a game that consists of building an environment of familiarity that they see or act regularly in their daily activities. Children can act as what they want to be, it can be mom, dad, sister, daughter or even children. If you want to play this game at home or maybe your kids need some instructions to do it, here are the guides for you.

First of all, figure out a place that you will use as a home. You can choose the bedroom, the chubby house, the tent or the toy house. In this case, try to choose a place that makes you feel comfortable, no matter how big or small. Then put all the things you already prepared inside the room and arrange them however you like.

Then create a whole story about the life you want to play. Explore all your imagination and pretend the role you decide. By creating your own story, the playhouse will be more fun and interactive. You can add some problem and try to solve it with others. Be sure to choose a story that your youngest child can easily understand.

After that, cook the imaginary foods. You can set up a fake oven along with pots and pans. Prepare several plastic eating utensils that you can buy at the toy store. For the ingredients, you can use shells, grass, leaves, or anything you can find nearby.

And then, cook the ingredients that you are already collecting. Whether it’s a steak, quiche, spaghetti, or maybe a burger. Just cook the food with your friends, or maybe you can act as a chef. After cooking the fake food, ask your friend to sit at the table and prepare the food. Make dinner time like a formal gathering, where you and your friends say “please” and “thank you.”

If possible and the story requires you to exit, just play it all the time. So, you can act like you left your house with your friends and then you go back to your home sweet home. It will make sure that you really play the part completely.

Playing house will give your children some benefit. They will learn social interaction and how to be an adult. This game can make your children know and understand the other role that they never imagined before.
