Lose Weight – My Weight Loss Discovery On How To Not Lose Your Love Relationship With Food

Every time I come across a weight loss book that starts with the mindset, I know I’m right. If you haven’t realized that your state of mind is the number one key to achieving your weight loss goals, then you’d do well to make the discovery that I did. It’s a book by Dr. Becky Gillaspy titled, “Lose Weight Without Losing Your Love Relationship With Food.”

Dr. Gillaspy has thousands of publications throughout her years of working with clients to successfully complete their weight loss journey. Her journey includes the sad days when food was her only friend and when she needs to lose 40 pounds or more, like she did, it can be a challenging place in life.

She sees dieters as one of two types: Fighters, which she describes in her book as those who hold on to beliefs and thoughts that unconsciously prevent them from losing weight, and Achievers, those who have ‘changed’ who they are and who they are. They allow themselves to rise above the problem. To be the latter you must act instead of react.

As Dr. Gillaspy says in her book: “Your mindset will always determine your weight. It always influences your decisions, whether you want it to or not, whether it produces good or bad results. Every thought you have, every belief you allow Living in your mind will shape your future.”

His principles of change are extremely empowering. In the book he quotes Charles F. Haanel, author of The Master Key System: “The only thing to keep from going backwards is to keep moving forward. Eternal vigilance is the price of success.”

Regardless of your current physical condition, do you appreciate your body or hate your body? Dr. Gillaspy will highlight the distinctions and help you understand the power of that frame of reference.

She shares her own insights and taps into other well-known authors to help you understand the power of living your own authentic life, and the empowerment that mindset brings on your weight loss journey.

You will discover many principles and how to be a winner instead of a fighter. As he absorbs the material in his book, he will begin to realize the freedom that responsibility brings. The future is yours and you control your weight, shape and physical well-being.

She wants you to change the behaviors that have made you overweight and shows you how you can do that by changing your beliefs. And her book is full of Action Steps that guide you along the way. Discover for yourself how to “Lose weight without losing your love relationship with food”.
