Prepare your spring wardrobe with shoe racks

With any luck, spring will be upon us in 8 weeks or so. For those of us who live in regions of the US that received massive amounts of debilitating snow and ice, any kind of warming trend will be welcome.

Of course, with the arrival of warmer weather – not necessarily shorts weather, mind you, just warmer – it may bring the need to change the clothes in your closet. Out with chunky turtlenecks, fleece, and boots, and in with lightweight jumper ensembles, capri pants, and fun footwear.

It can be a real chore to change those clothes. I myself hate him for various reasons. It’s time I’d rather spend elsewhere, and it kicks up dust. You may even have to refold or rehang some things. And there’s also the threat that some of my favorite spring clothes won’t fit me the way they used to.

The wardrobe change process also reminds me how much I have in fashion and footwear. Spring is really a great time to take stock of your entire wardrobe, from shoes to jewelry, and cut the excess. If you haven’t used it in two years, you should send it on consignment or to your local donation store.

What if you do all of that and still have more stuff than closet space? Get creative with your space by installing some shoe racks, stackable storage bins, and wire shelf dividers.

Shoe racks can be a great way to organize all your springtime sneakers, sandals, and flip-flops. When you see what you have in your own closet, it can help curb the urge to buy something new. Hanging shoe racks are also a great way to store folded items like activewear (required for Capri pants to fit!) and spring hats and scarves.
