Quick Ways To Lose Weight – Start Losing Weight Now!

Losing weight and getting in shape is a goal that many set out to achieve, but many times out of desperation the desire to find quick ways to lose weight becomes an obsession. As a result, people go on extreme calorie restriction diets or develop unhealthy eating disorders that are harmful and sometimes fatal. Many turn to these methods when they feel they are not reaching their set weight loss goals as quickly as they think they should.

For some people, the frustration of not reaching their goals quickly causes them to momentarily give up and go on a binge session, after eating they feel even more angry at themselves for losing control and once again enter the dieting cycle. But, the good news is that you don’t need to starve yourself to get in shape fast, as it’s healthier for you to provide your body with the nutrients it needs to support bodily functions.

But before you start, it is recommended that you set realistic goals. Realize that your body has its limitations and there will be times when you struggle and can’t seem to make any progress towards your goals. But, I implore you to keep moving forward. Since you’ll set yourself up for failure if you aim too aggressively, ten pounds a week sounds great; but losing so much weight in such a short time is extremely unhealthy.

For most people, a healthy and sustainable weight loss goal is 2-3 pounds per week, any more than that and you’ll most likely gain the weight back. So what can you do to lose weight fast? Unfortunately, there is no magic pill or secret potion that will shed weight on its own, but there are steps you can take that will see results quickly, such as:

1. Take the amount of food you usually eat and cut your portion size in half, you’ll get the benefit of still enjoying the foods you love while cutting calories.

2. Eat slowly – This allows your brain to process the signals that tell it when you are full, also chew your food well as this will also slow down your eating, helping you feel fuller faster.

3. Eat dinner earlier: Instead of having dinner at six in the evening, try to eat around four, this gives your body more time to burn calories and fully digest the food you eat.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar – Have 2 tablespoons of ACV before you eat, this will even out your blood sugar levels and also help you feel full faster.

5. Incorporate lots of fruits in your diet. Aim for 5-6 servings per day, doing this will help you not overeat.

6. Drink plenty of water – Of course you’ve heard this before, but studies show that drinking water helps your body with a variety of functions, including helping you lose weight, but also helping to speed up your metabolism. So drink up!

7. Exercise: A combination of cardio and strength training will jump-start your metabolism. Try routines that shake up your body, such as jogging, then alternating briskly with a brisk walk up an incline to drastically increase the number of calories you burn.

There are also many natural supplements on the market to curb hunger and boost your energy so you can push yourself to the max in your exercise routine. While rapid weight loss can be achieved, the key to maintaining your weight loss is finding a diet and exercise routine that you can stay with for a long period of time that doesn’t sacrifice your health. Ideally, your new healthy regimen should incorporate eating healthier foods with smaller portions.

Also, take time to celebrate the milestones you achieve, whether it’s waking up early to exercise or skipping your favorite desert, this will give you the motivation to stay on track.
