Sisel International – Company Review

company overview

SISEL (pronounced “sizzle”) is an acronym for; Science, innovation, success, energy and longevity.

Sisel International is a network marketing company founded in 2006 by Tom Mower Sr. and his son Tom Mower Jr. The company is located in Utah. They are currently operating in 12 countries around the world. They have an impressive 400,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility in Utah.

products

This line of products includes nutritional liquids, weight loss, nutritional supplements, hair, dental and body care, skin care, cosmetics, an exquisite line of mineral makeup called Timeless Minerals, aromatherapy and even some home care products. which currently include a liquid laundry detergent. and dish soap.

In its liquid nutritional products, SISEL uses Tongan limu moui seaweed extract to create what many fucoidan researchers believe is the most powerful fucoidan supplement available on the market today.

SISEL products are priced the same for everyone, regardless of whether they are Distributors or Preferred Customers.

There seems to be an incentive for distributors and customers to participate in an autoship program.

One of their liquid nutritional products is Eternity. The price is $50 plus tax and shipping, but if you opt for an automatic purchase program, you can save $7.

Cost to become a distributor

There is currently a $20 start-up fee and a $15 annual auto-renewal fee charged to your credit card on the anniversary of the date you join.

Preferred Customer Program

Every time a registered Preferred Customer purchases a product, you earn a commission and accumulate Preferred Customer points that can be redeemed for free products.

Compensation plan

Sisel has a 12 page compensation plan online on their corporate site.

The SISEL compensation plan is a hybrid plan, which means that it incorporates different commission calculation methods.

1. Fast Start Bonuses

2. Direct Distributor Bonuses

3. Master Distributor Bonuses

4. Builder Bonus

5. Lifestyle Bonuses

Although the fast start bonus is still listed on its corporate site, the company’s newsletter said it would be discontinued in 2009 to accommodate the revolutionary Leadership Bonus that would start being paid on day one of qualification. They had also mentioned that they had an Executive Lateral Transfer program until 2009.

Ranks and Qualifications

There are currently only 4 ranks listed below:

Silver Direct Distributor: 100 PV

Gold Direct Distributor: 150 PV

Platinum Direct Distributor: 200 PV

Master Distributor: Gold or Platinum AP (150+ PV), 1000 PGV, 5000 CPGV

Training and support

Sisel offers some sales tools, however I did not see any training tools offered by them.

I’m assuming you get your training from your sponsor, which is how most mlm businesses operate.

Internet Marketing Policy

Does this company allow internet marketing? This is a very important point to consider before joining any business! Social media and internet marketing have become innovative ways to reach millions of people on the internet. However, many companies still do not realize that we have entered the information age and prohibit dealers from advertising on the Internet.

Although Sisel International has strict rules about advertising or marketing its products on the Internet, it appears that they offer distributors the opportunity to design their own website. The website must be submitted for approval and must adhere to the specific guidelines set out in your policy. If approved, they are apparently required to pay a $1000 annual website registration fee.

The corporate website appears to be a replicated website with a product page, automated shopping cart, and online dealer registration.

Social networks

Sisel has a link to a media center on its corporate home page and also links to social networking sites which are currently Facebook and Twitter. They also have a link to a company blog that was started in April 2010.

How do you get distributors and customers?

There are Business Opportunity Meetings scheduled on the Corporate Events Calendar, so I’m assuming you need to recruit people to attend hotel meetings. I didn’t see any mention of ways to recruit, so I’m assuming you go after your friends, family, and coworkers.

They also apparently promote Timeless Home Party meetups as a fun way to get information on their Timeless beauty products and learn how to throw a house party.

my review

On review of all that Sisel International has to offer, it appears to be a good company. There is a low start-up cost that makes it attractive to bankrupt people wanting to start a business, however how many people actually want to take their friends and family to hotels or have parties at home.

In order to be successful and continually grow this business, you will need to recruit others and sell products and teach your group to do the same. If that’s what you’re looking for, the Sisel International opportunity might be a good fit for you.

However, it doesn’t seem like they have any marketing training, as is the case with most MLMs. The reason 95% of network marketers fail is because untrained people teach untrained people. Without proper training and mentoring, most people will fail, so if you want to join Sisel and be in the top 5%, you need to find a mentor and participate in a leadership development program.

If you are not willing to find a mentor and participate in a leadership development program, I suggest you continue to look for a network marketing company that provides marketing training and allows you to market your products on the internet. If not, you might be interested in looking for an internet based product and company to learn the skills to make money online as an alternative.
