Steady rock in turmoil

Turbulence, a universal experience that everyone will find. Its forms, emotional, physical, or spiritual, can be experienced at any time and in any combination. How we deal with turmoil or not can have immediate and long term effects on our internal and external development, progress and evolution in Life. If we choose not to deal with reality by numbing and closing ourselves off to escape, the result of this negative strategy leads to emotional and spiritual constriction. However, if we choose to stay present and deal with the confusion using positive strategies and methods that help us cope and learn from the disturbance, the results will be emotionally and spiritually expansive.

To heal you have to be present to treat. To help you stay present and cope, I am going to share an emotionally and spiritually expansive technique that will help you hold onto your center during the stormy waters of turmoil. By using this simple centering technique, you increase your ability to receive guidance from your Soul to help you overcome and learn the lesson at hand.

This technique was not something I learned from a book. It was offered to me by my soul in December of 1989 while I was in the midst of an emotionally turbulent time. My emotional turmoil was caused by financial stress: $1400 in bills $300 in checking account.

As I sat at my desk fuming with frustration, anger, and sadness, I turned my face to the ceiling and said out loud to God, “Okay! I quit my corporate job to heal like you asked. I have. done. all the marketing stuff they told me to do. I’ve struggled to get this healing practice off the ground for a year, and now look at the mess I’m in. Do I give up? Do I accept this as failure? and return to the business world?

As I sat in my mental rowboat being tossed by tidal waves of emotions, the sweet voice of my Soul said, “Surrender and trust.” “How?” I asked. “The surrender of knowing the Beloved brings trust to the fore. Take a special passage or prayer that has meaning for you and read it. I suggest you read it, one line or word at a time, contemplating it and allowing the meaning to unfold. stop while you write it. This will teach you why it has meaning and how it brings confidence to your heart and mind.”

Surrender! I hate that word. Whenever I heard the word surrender it was always a euphemism for “throw in the towel and do it my way.” This was not something my ego wanted to hear or even consider, as it meant acknowledging that I was not in control. And who doesn’t want to be in control, after all, we are programmed to be just that: control freaks.

However, spiritual surrender means raising one’s vibration and consciousness higher. What this means is that you relinquish the slow vibration of all control at all levels of your being by acknowledging, accepting, and yielding to GOD’s plan for you.

As I sat with my Soul’s suggestion, the first rays of light to rise above the gloomy horizon of my mind was a passage I had to memorize as a child before I could go to bed, the 23rd Psalm. I followed my Soul’s lead. and here is my interpretation and understanding of Psalm 23 and its deeper meaning to me.

The Lord is my shepherd, I will lack nothing. This phrase anchors me with my Soul, because he is truly the Supreme Being, My Lord, who guides, escorts and directs me on my way to remember my truth.

He makes me rest in green pastures. It means that it helps me come to a specific area of ​​balance in my heart.

It leads me besides resting waters. It means that it guides me to the calm state of my mind.

He restores my Soul. He reconnects my conscious mind with His.

He will guide me on the path of justice for his name’s sake. It means that my Soul guides me to the state of being in tune with the Universal Mind because that is the namesake of it.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. It means that I walk, not live, in a valley of illusion that if I believed in them I would die to my truth of “I AM THE LIGHT”!

I will fear no evil. It means that the knowledge of my Soul is centered and cannot be overcome by the forces of the dark glow.

because you are with me. It means that my Soul and I are ONE.

Your Rod, the divine authority of My Soul.

And your staff. All those who work for and with God.

They comfort me. It means to me that they help me achieve a state of tranquility and satisfaction of my desires without pain or anxiety.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. My Soul prepares a place for me to nourish myself with the truth that is safe from my negative state of consciousness.

You anoint my head with oil. I am marked in my crown, my essence, as belonging to GOD.

My cup overflows. My heart is so full of the Love of GOD that it flows from me to creation.

Surely goodness: Definitive than GOD.

And Mercy: Compassion.

will follow me all the days of my life. It will always be a part of me for infinity.

And in the house of the Lord I will dwell forever.

Throughout the Universe there is One Life forever, I AM THE LIGHT FOREVER.

And so it is!

Was I calm and stable after following my Soul’s suggestion? Yes. Have my financial concerns changed? Yes, and fast too.

What I just described to you was my inspirational lesson. Inspiration. What is? Physiologically, inspiration is the drawing of air into the lungs. Mentally it is something that stimulates the human mind to creative thought or artistic endeavor. That it could come as a sudden brilliant idea, or be someone or something that awakens the mind. Sometimes it can come to us as divine guidance and influence.

Zachary Lansdowne in his book: The Rays and Esoteric Psychology, beautifully describes the spiritual aspects and mechanics of inspiration.

“…inspiration refers to a transmission of understanding from a source in the subjective realm to someone on the physical plane. This transmission occurs from soul to soul, which means that it occurs on the plane of souls, referring to the higher subplanes of the mental plane.Inspiration is experienced through the crown chakra and does not use a psychic ability.During this process, the receiver gains an abstract or non-verbal understanding of some idea; the mind and brain can then be used to Express that idea in your own thoughts and images.

The steps for deep awakening inspiration are:

1) Choose a special passage or prayer that is meaningful to you.

2) Read one line or word at a time contemplating it: allowing the meaning to unfold.

3) Write the meaning.

The results: 1) Helps focus your consciousness back to GOD.

2) Bring peace and balance to your heart and mind.

3) You increase your ability to receive active guidance from your Soul.

4) You pass it and learn the lesson at hand.

Now that you know the spiritual mechanics of how inspiration flows and its power, use this simple yet effective technique, the Soul offers help in keeping your center stable during rough emotional waters. Remember that when you steer and propel your boat in the same direction with your Soul, you will be at peace and harmony with the Divine Plan on a gently flowing sea.
