Ulduar Relics: The Best Locations To Farm These WoW Relics

Gold farming within World of Warcraft is something that every player tries to do. The problem with most players is that they waste too much time on low drop locations and as a result earn less gold per hour than they might otherwise.

One of the most popular items to farm right now are Ulduar Relics. These items can be turned in for reputation rewards with the Sons of Hodir. The reason these items are popular is because many of the best vendor enchantments in the game come from being exalted with this faction.

Due to this popularity, not only many players try to get this faction reward, but also these relics sell for a lot of gold on the auction house. So I decided to write this article to help people understand the best locations to farm this valuable WoW item.

Best Locations To Farm Ulduar Relics

While there are many locations you can farm these heirlooms from, I’ll only include what I’ve found to be the top three locations along with tips and techniques for each location.

1. Snowdrift Plains (NW corner of Storm Peaks). This is my favorite place to farm these relics due to their incredible drop rate. The problem with this location is that every gold farmer knows about it too, but there is a solution to this problem. Most people try to farm them in the quarry pit, but on the other side of the snowdrift is another spot that sees very little traffic. So the best thing to do is if you see two or three people in the neighborhood, just head over to the other side and enjoy all the drops for yourself.

2. Vrykul Mines (Inside Brunnhildar Village). This is another one of my favorite places to farm Ulduar relics. Miners within the village have a high respawn rate, as well as a high drop rate for these relics. The main problem here is that the location also hosts a daily quest, and therefore can get crowded with competition. Not a huge drawback though, as the daily quest is quick and easy, and soon you’ll be the only one left farming here.

3. Fjorn’s Anvil (77.63). Just west of Dun Niffelem and beyond the frozen lake is where you’ll find Fjorn’s Anvil. This is my favorite place to farm Ulduar relics. All you need to do here is kill the angry revenants, over and over again. Why is this place so good? Simple, these creatures not only have an amazing respawn rate, but they also drop green, gold, and of course the relics. In a good run, you can easily collect at least 100 relics an hour here.

The main problem of this location is the high traffic. Not only are there other players completing daily quests here, but it’s also prime ganking ground. So the solution is simple, if you see a lot of traffic around here, go check out the other locations mentioned above and come back here later when things calm down.
