What are RSS feeds?

RSS Feeds.

RSS, also known as rich site digest or true plain syndication, came on the scene several years ago, but has only recently been embraced by webmasters as a means to effectively syndicate content. RSS feeds give webmasters and content providers an avenue to provide concise summaries to potential readers. Thousands of business websites and blogs now publish content summaries in an RSS feed.
