Postpartum symptoms arising from the human energy field

Of all the energy healing clients I have worked with since the 1980s, my postpartum women are some of the closest and dearest to me. I think this is because once they can go home feeling better, it also improves the lives of the little ones who depend so directly on them, not to mention the rest of their families.

Most had caesarean sections, which has become “the way to give birth” these days. For convenience, I guess, but history will have to tell if that’s a good trade-off or not.

When I started working with the human biofield, C-sections were mostly a long vertical cut down the center of the womb. This was the cut “Miranda” had when she came in to see me. Actually, her friend dragged her out and she was devastated.

The friend told me that ever since the baby was born, Miranda had been plagued by terrible fears that she was going to drop her baby. She began to avoid picking up the little girl from her for fear of not being able to hold on without dropping her.

She was prescribed antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications, but luckily she felt they might make things worse and didn’t take them. When I scanned the biofield around her abdomen, it became clear to me why Miranda felt anxious and exhausted.

There was a large opening in the field around the belly indicating that while the body itself heals the surgical site, the biofield does not always follow it and remains open, unhealed.

There are different ways an opening on the field can feel to me. In Miranda’s case, the flow of energy around her womb felt like it was coming out quickly and in a downward motion. She made perfect sense to me why she felt that way. The life energy from where he had internally carried her baby was now “falling” away from her. That was the condition in her bio-field that she was detecting and interpreting as fear of dropping her baby.

This is a primary principle to understand when it comes to the human energy field or bio-field. (It is also called the aura, the electromagnetic field, and more precisely the morphogenetic field.) The body communicates with the biofield and the biofield communicates with the body.

The subtle energy of the bio-field interacts with and informs the physically denser body. This has been extensively researched and documented in the late 20th century, but has not yet been incorporated into medical curricula, so it is still not recognized by doctors.

It didn’t surprise me that, on some subtle level, Miranda “knew” she was going to drop her baby because that’s what her bio-field was telling her.

“Sue” had a different postpartum experience. She was constantly exhausted, like Miranda, but she also felt that she couldn’t ‘connect’ with her body or her baby. She started taking antidepressants but she felt that they were not ‘solving’ the problem. And they were not because the problem was not biochemical. It was bioenergetic.

Sue’s c-section was the new ‘smile’ cut below the bikini line. Like Miranda, Sue’s incision had healed, but unlike Miranda, her biofield had also healed, just as we would expect all incisions, all her wounds, to heal. So we had to look for other areas where the field hadn’t healed.

We discovered that Sue’s energy was leaking from the site where her IV had been inserted. It was a “slow leak” but steady, and Sue felt that she could never get enough rest or drink something to recharge her batteries and give her energy.

This is like some of the other moms I’ve worked with who had regular childbirth experiences but had an epidural and/or episiotomy. These are also places where a woman’s energy can leak out and cause depression, exhaustion, anxiety, a lack of will to live or to go on another day.

Sometimes this can happen even in childbirth without an epidural or episiotomy, especially with a difficult delivery. The biofield is expelled when the baby comes out and sometimes does not return to its normal place. With an opening or distortion in the bio-field around the first chakra or spiritual center (also called the root chakra), the will to live can simply be drained away.

Another typical postpartum problem can be a lack of interest in sex, even a frank aversion to it. This is a subconscious response to protect or avoid the area of the body that feels vulnerable. Most of my postpartum women had some degree of sexual commitment. And this is true for all symptoms of a distorted or unhealed biofield: they can be mild or they can be extreme.

Finally, there was “Carol” whose C-section left her biofield partially open; but instead of her energy seeping out or rushing out, Carol’s unhealed biofield felt like a void that wanted to put my hand into her body. It was like an open energetic “wound” that left her vulnerable and fearful. She would have terrifying nightmares of being attacked or victimized by unidentifiable and terrifying forces.

Carol was nervous and her baby was picking up on her distress. Everyone in the family was tense and anxious. And that was the condition of most of my postpartum clients, their babies and their families.

Carol was told that “it was all in her mind”, because everything “looked good”; She was prescribed a variety of medications. But not everything was in her mind. It was very real and these symptoms needed to be addressed at the level where they occurred: in the human biofield.

In all cases, once we were able to identify the area in the biofield that had not healed properly after birth, it rarely took more than one healing session to repair the energy field and witness the end of the very real, very disturbing symptoms. While invisible to us, the existence of the human energy field is proven, real, and can be successfully restored to eliminate very real symptoms.
