Sao Paulo is known throughout the world as a great place for cultural vacations. As one of the only museums in the world dedicated to the language, the Museu da Lingua Portuguesa celebrates the Portuguese language. The museum exhibits are all in Portuguese, however even non-speakers can appreciate the sounds and tone of the language. Admission is only $6, but teachers, children 10 and under, and seniors can enter for free. There is no admission charge on Saturdays.

Kids can have fun creating life-size bubbles, climbing the rock wall, learning about the planets, and even taking a 3D flying tour of Rio. Tickets are $6, but young children, students, seniors, and people with special needs pay half price. It is said that the neighborhood can be a bit dangerous, so many visitors recommend taking a taxi or parking in the guarded parking lot.
