It wasn’t long ago when I decided to give The Flying Monkey Delta8 disposable camera review a try. The concept was intriguing. Buy a new digital camera, take some photos and then upload them to an online site. I hadn’t heard of this one before and decided to see how it worked. Here’s what I learned.
The system is actually pretty impressive. At first I wasn’t sure about the durability of the camera, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I’ve gotten used to the camera. I did notice that you typically have to press a button in order to start shooting, but that quickly grew used to. After pressing the start button three or four times, I was ready to hit the shutter button.
The first photo that I got was a shot of my daughter and her friends riding their ATV’s on a remote hill. The girls were flying around in a circle. It was difficult to tell exactly what they were doing. They were certainly moving at speeds exceeding forty miles per hour. I’ll admit, it looked like they were trying to crash into the woods. Fortunately, all of the vehicles that they were riding on were okay.
A Review of an Unique Toy
After taking several more shots the kids were moving down a dirt road. As they neared the end of the dirt road, one of them suddenly accelerated from the grass and went upside down. Thankfully the camera picked up the image just as it happened. They were safe and sound and were able to walk away. It was a thrilling moment for me.
That was the only problem I encountered. The next time I went looking for flying squirrels on my property, it was nearly impossible to find them. They were so popular that they were probably all over the place. There were a few different compounds that I could use to attract them, but no matter which one I chose, they seemed to be too high up in the trees. I ended up giving up and moving on to something else.
Flying Monkey Delta is truly a unique toy. While it may not be for everyone, it is definitely worth checking out. If you have children who are avid toy pilots, it could provide hours of entertainment and maybe even an opportunity to get closer to nature. My children think that it’s a great idea!
